Automotive Service Advisor
The position:

We are on the hunt for a full time Front Seat Driver, AKA Service Advisor to join our growing team in Invermere, British Columbia!
Previous automotive experience preferred but not required. Must have a knack for technical concepts.

Qualifications + skills:
- Previous experience in automotive industry not required, but is considered an asset
- Previous service advisor experience not required, but is considered an asset
- Positive and passionate personality
- Confident communicator
- Proven experience in customer service
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Proficiency with computers and Windows based software
- An ability to multitask in a fast paced, time-sensitive environment
- Professional, well-groomed appearance, representing the Cleanline brand
As Front Seat Driver you will:
- Ensure customer experience is consistent and in line with our values…each and every time!
- Be the translator between technician and customer, communicating details clearly
- Answer calls, greet customers and schedule appointments
- Be “gatekeeper” of the appointment schedule, striking the balance to ensure we are meeting our full potential
- Carry out pre-appointment reminders and follow-up calls
- Keep technicians hopping, coordinating workflow and ordering parts
- Build accurate estimates/invoices for customers
- Independently solve customer challenges and concerns with empathy
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and commitment to teamwork
- Handle various forms of payment including cash, debit, and credit cards
- Oversee accounts receivable/payable and other administrative tasks
- Random missions as required (e.g. washing cars, shuttling customers, etc.)
As Front Seat Driver your main responsibilities will be:
Service Advising
- Ensure client approves all work and costs before proceeding with job
- Communicate effectively with client
- Communicate effectively with technicians
- Ensure timelines are communicated and adhered to
- Ensure factory maintenance is followed
- Pre-book next appointments
- Keep appointment scheduler up to date
- Receive phone calls
- Perform follow up phone calls on select jobs
- Build tire and maintenance estimates/work orders
- Manage tire storage inventory
- Create pre-booked appointments
- Shuttle customers and vehicles.
Parts
- Receive and delegate parts to appropriate work orders
- Manage parts returns
- Parts on site 2 days prior to appointment
- Reorder inventory items listed on shop whiteboard
